About Matt Davidson

Matt Davidson was dux in maths and science at his high school, an important achievement that should be celebrated long after school is over. He has been a practising illustrator for over 20 years, and in that time has won a Society of News Design award for illustration in 1999 and the 2007 Quill Award for best illustration in any medium. He illustrates the opinion page for the Sunday Age every week, and has also worked for Jmag, Oxford University Press, Prentice Hall and University of Queensland press. He once tried to haul himself onto a tractor by grabbing the exhaust pipe. His hand blistered. He doesn’t recommend it.
