About Kate Banazi
Kate Banazi was born in London, where she enjoyed shortbread but became suspicious of nylon knitwear and snakes. She remained in London until she was old enough to complete a fashion degree at Central St Martins, where she measured the inside legs of beautiful male models and wrote ‘I love you’ with chalk over and over inside men’s jackets before they went to be lined. She once made a pig suit for a Fatboy Slim video and served Jack Nicholson drinks. As an illustrator, she has worked for clients such as Unilever, Circle Design, PWC and Insane Skateboards. She likes to work with fabric, pencils, sharp knives, ink, paper and cake. She has a suspicion that when she becomes older she will push around a pram full of puppies and perhaps smell of pee, but we doubt that.
