About Amanda Upton
Amanda Upton wasted no time getting into the game, illustrating children's stories while still at High School for pocket money. Since then, her work can be found in newspapers from The Sydney Morning Herald to The Age, and at publishers such as Penguin and Allen & Unwin. A Walkley award finalist, Amanda has also been Included among Luzer's Archive best illustrators. Her fine art has been widely exhibited in Sydney and in collections at many Regional galleries. She works from home in her attic studio overlooking a maze of Surry Hills rooftops.
