About Jenny Grigg

Jenny Grigg is an award winning Australian graphic designer. After graduating from the University of Technology in 1989, Jenny worked for 10 years as an editorial art director in Sydney, at Rolling Stone Magazine and HQ Magazine. Jenny then took on the role as the art director of MTV Australia and commenced her extensive freelance career with work in the advertsing, publishing and music industries. Jenny lived in London in 2003 where she worked at Pentagram and designed book covers for Faber & Faber. On her return to Australia, Jenny took an inhouse role as the creative director of Harper Collins Publishers in Sydney and continued to design for notable authors including Paul Auster and Peter Carey. Jenny has won numerous awards (Young Designer of the year in 1996 & 2002) and her art direction has been published by Communication Arts in the United States. Her design and illustration has been published in many design annuals in Europe and the UK, (including Eye Magazine and Faber’s 80th year anniversary edition “Eighty Years of Book Cover Design”).

Her work has been exhibited in Australia and Europe and in 2007 she was nominated by Vince Frost for AGI membership in Zurich.

She works internationally, but keeps her studio base in Australia.
