Paul Nolan

Part of

The Perch

Paul Nolan is a custom letterer, designer, artist, and printer from Brisbane with a passionate appreciation for type history and an unashamed obsession with type and print.

Prior to the Mac revolution, Paul was mentored into the industry by a masterful and highly awarded type designer. Through this experience, he was able to learn branding, print design, and type history not to mention production and traditional hand skills. Paul loves the creative process, and lives and breathes type and print. Working with clients to bring ideas to life and then crafting them is part of his love for the job.

In recent years Paul has been active in the exhibition arena both here and internationally. He has been actively involved in type, design and print sessional lecturing as well as workshops.
