When this bulletin hit our screens, our hearts could barely take the sweetness. This week Jeremy Ley paid a little visit to Valkstone Primary School in South Caulfield, Melbourne. He blessed the kids with some fun in assembly and a quick drawing class – and we have this photo-essay to prove it. Warning: Once you spot the kid in the Wally get-up, you’ll melt.
Jeremy’s photo captions were so nice we pinched and edited them. Now it sounds like he writes in the third person:
1.) Jeremy at Valkstone Primary School being interviewed by a turtle. (It was ‘dress up as your favourite character in a book’ day). Where’s Wally?
2.) A drawing of the Head Master that Jeremy did in front of the assembly.
3.) The winner of the ‘Jeremy Ley T-Shirt Prize’. The kid was ‘Super’ happy about it.
4.) A captivated audience getting a quick drawing class.
5.) Jeremy showing the kids how a character can be drawn in different ways from basic shapes. That’s Jeremy showing them his crocodile teeth.
6.) One of the girls thanking Jeremy for coming down.
