Prince of the pen, Karl Kwasny was asked by John Beckers and Marina Younger of MTV in Sydney to put his flourishing type work to use to promote the Sharpie Pen / MTV win a trip to Japan promotion.
If you think you can do better than Karl, give it a shot, but don't be disappointed
Jacky Winter artist Kate Banazi, working with the stoic and patient Gemma, Adam and Jason at DTdigital, created her brand of colourful screen printed elements that found themselves put to excellent use on DTdigital's digital forest.
So far 99 digital trees have been planted which equated to 396 earth trees, although it has to be said, the earth ones aren't as near as colourful as Kate's...
... but then again.. they do produce the oxygen we need to breathe... hmmmm
It's Christmas at Jacky Winter too you know!
To celebrate the Yule Tide we commissioned comic genius Oslo Davis to illustrate us in the office being comic genii, which were sent out as a series of cards.
And yes there is an fact a semi conscious body in the office most days, they are on the pay roll mostly to clean up and make Jeremy his patented 'Soy Bomb' cocktails

It's been a great year, thanks for following us in what we do. Keep doing so as 2010 is guaranteed to better.

Lachlan Conn produced this great little illo for Prevention Magazine . The article was on green-ness and generosity two things our arch nemesis and sworn enemy, Tony Abbot, doesn't understand.
JW artist Ben Sanders produced this excellent piece of work for Prevention Magazine. The subject of the article was to love the body you've got. Something we at the JWG are volitional exponents of when we're not try to claim cosmetic surgery on Medicare...
Our favourite duo of Scottish illustrators, Good Wives and Warriors, were making the most of representing their work at Illustrative 2009 in Berlin. If you like you can watch Becky and Louise getting interviewed in the clip above.
What a whirlwind year it's been here at the Jacky Winter Compound... Rivalling our collective output over the past 12 months is this incredible patchwork put together by JW artists Biddy Maroney and Sonny Day, the unstoppable force of darkness known as webuyyourkids. To see all this work together in one image is a testament to their incredible dedication and effort over the year, both with Jacky Winter, as well as with their own practice in Sydney. If the Botox hadn't completely mangled our tear ducts, we would shed a tear of awesomeness over this incredible collection of work.
What can we really say about Beatbox Kitchen, except for the fact that we are BLOWN AWAY! You might recognize the artwork on the lunchtruck that has stolen our hearts belonging to that of Beci Orpin, who's husband Raph is the 'driving' force behind the mobile kitchen, and will also be moving the beast around, serving up some great homestyle cooking at a suburb near you! More information can be found on the recent ThreeThousand review here, and be sure to keep an eye on their site and follow them on Twitter to find out when the Kitchen will be rolling near you. Those of you headed out to Meredith this weekend can be the first to sample her maiden voyage! Congratulations to both Beci and Raph!
When JW illustrator Guy Shield let us in on his plans to propose to his now Fiance with an elaborate illustration-based scheme, we had one of those moments where if we were not robots and had functioning tear ducts, we would have cried. In all seriousness, can you really imagine a better brief? If you want to bring a smile to your day, have a read at Guy's in-depth post outlining the process on his blog here. Congratulations Guy!!!
