Ah, hump day. It’s the perfect day to dream about the weekend ahead and reminisce about the weekend just past. Last Saturday we opened up the Good Weekend in our crisp copies of The Age (and/or Sydney Morning Herald) and ogled two very fine illustrations by two of our very fine illustrators. One of our latest recruits, Tom Simpson, absolutely blew us away with his vintage style illustration for an article about the seedy Gold Coast. We turned a few pages to find Jacky Winter favourite Ben Sander’s charming illustration for an article about tattoos on old skin. It was a perfect weekend moment.
