Looks like we’re going to need to build a bigger pool room. The latest trophies to come our way were from the 2011 Caxton Awards for Excellence in Newspaper Advertising, where Jacky Winter dominated the illustration category. The first ‘best illustration’ award went to Stuart McLachlan for his work with the always brilliant DDB Melbourne on the Original Juice ‘Tastefully Original’ campaign. The second ‘best illustration’ award went to magicians Toby and Pete and super-creatives George Patterson Y&R for their work on the ‘Where Spring Comes From’ campaign for Spring Valley. Darryl Kerrigan would be proud as punch.
