Calling out for entries from this Friday, the inaugural Glossy Awards seek to acknowledge creativity in magazine advertising. They’re calling it ‘a swish new mag award that won’t change your life’, but I’m betting it would feel pretty great to win one of the 21 categories. Clemenger BBDO Sydney (whose executive creative director will be chairing the event) commissioned Kat Chadwick to illustrate the modest tagline, resulting in this fun-poking filing cabinet scenario that places the Glossies alongside receiving a call from Mum.
