We need to tell you something and it’s probably best if you sit down. Seriously, sit down, and move all dangerous items out of the way. Alright, you ready? Kat Macleod will be returning to Lamington Drive for her third solo exhibition opening on October 20, entitled ‘Page Girls’. Coinciding with the tenth birthday of Michi Girl, ‘Page Girls’ presents a series of Macleod’s original Michi Girl illustrations, hand-picked from her personal collection. The work reveals the process behind the illustrations of the fictional weather girl and fashion commentator, complete with signature imperfections. It’s difficult to believe this redheaded belle has hit the ripe old age of ten, but hey, youth and beauty undoubtedly come naturally when your portraits are crafted by illustration goddess Kat Macleod.
