Everything’s coming up Milhouse at JWHQ these days. In all the excitement we completely failed to mention that last Friday not one, not two, but three of our illustrators worked on campaigns that received MADC Awards. Paul Nolan worked with Publicis Mojo Melbourne to create the ‘Play Melbourne’ logo for Tourism Victoria and walked away with a Silver for best typography, while Stuart McLachlan’s work with DDB Melbourne on the ‘Tastefully Original’ campaign resulted in a Bronze for best illustration. Bringing up the rear was Ben Ashton-Bell, who’s packaging illustrations helped Di Donato Partners' James Squire packaging win Bronze. Now that’s work worthy of flood pants.
