Master of irreverance Oslo Davis has been penning his weekly Overheard cartoons for The Sunday Age since 2007. Using his eyes, ears, and razor-sharp wit, Oslo captures the hilariously inappropriate things people say every day, and indeed, if you’ve ever said anything hilarious or inappropriate you could have been overheard by him and then immortalised in newsprint. And you could be in this book, a collection of over 100 of Oslo’s Overheards, now conveniently together in one place to be enjoyed and cringed over at your leisure.
Michelle Griffin, The Age’s Arts Editor, will launch the book this Friday at Readings. Come along to witness some live action Oslo and just try and keep a straight face.
