Many illustrators dream of breaking into children’s book publishing, yet not many are able to crack the elusive niche industry. Not so for JW artist Andrew Joyner, who illustrated his first book, The Terrible Plop, which has just seen a run in North America, through Farrar, Straus and Giroux. The book, which is a wonderful tale written by Ursula Dobosarsky, was released earlier this year by Penguin Australia to wide acclaim. Read more about the book over at Penguin’s site here. Congratulations Andrew!
