Eley Kishimoto, or Japanese Vogue.
How does your mother describe your profession?
She will probably start showing you books and clippings of my work! She’s my number one fan!

What’s your earliest drawing memory?
A snowman (very weird as I grew up in snowless Melbourne). I remember drawing a green one in kindergarten and putting his smoking pipe straight up between his eyes because I hadn’t learnt how to draw in perspective yet. It crossed over his carrot nose, it didn’t look good.
How do you prefer to spend your mornings?
Quietly drinking coffee.
