Andi Meier
Bio
Munich-based Andi Meier makes playful, expressive illustrations with clay and a lot of love. His work is all about trying to make people happy with funny, surprising, and ironic elements. Andi studied Communication Design at the University of Applied Arts in Nuremberg, Germany.
He designed a gingerbread man character for Australian historical theme park Sovereign Hill, for its annual Winter Wonderlights event celebrating Christmas in July. He also recently created a cover for Stern, one of the biggest magazines in Germany. Some awards currently lining Andi’s trophy room include ADC Bronze Award 2015, Applied Arts Award 2017, and The Washington Post Award of Excellence 2018.
