Grace Lee
Bio
Growing up in Western Sydney, Grace Lee studied Visual Communications at the University of Technology, and worked as a magazine designer before moving to Japan. She has lived and worked in Tokyo for over a decade. Grace’s work is all about colour, fun, movement and dashes of daily life, made with Copic markers, paint and Photoshop layering.
Her retail clients include Uniqlo, Parco, Lumine, Beams, Hikarie, lululemon, Muji and Toyota, and Grace has contributed to editorial in Vanity Fair, Elle, goop, Popeye, The Big Issue and Bon Appetit. She created a mural for French chocolate company Le Chocolat des Francais for their Valentine’s Day pop-up event in Tokyo, and wrapping for Who Gives a Crap’s Twelve Rolls of Christmas campaign. Grace was commissioned by ABC Life to create a six-part comic about her move to Tokyo called ‘Australian Grace’.
