Hend & Lamiaa

Hend & Lamiaa are a dynamic directing duo who create impactful content that entertains people and stimulates minds. Together they direct, design and animate, telling heartfelt stories, shedding light on important subject matters and spreading knowledge through colourful visuals and quirky relatable characters. Originally from Cairo, Egypt, the Hend & Lamiaa studio is currently in Bristol, UK.

A recent project involved a short film made in collaboration with 6 other artists from around the world called ‘Climate Emergency: Exquisite Corpse’, and the film received a Staff Pick badge from Vimeo. Hend & Lamiaa created an animated intro for Facebook Creative Shop, and an audio and animation for the BBC Listening Project called ‘Sea Life’.

The studio also creates work for several charity organisations supporting women and maternal health including Tommys, Merck for Mothers, SARSAS, Action Aid and Able Child.
