Jay Cover
Bio
Jay Cover is an illustrator who takes inspiration from minimalism, geometry, 1950s design and Japanese carpentry. Everything is hand-drawn, each expressive, clear design a step toward discovering a solution. Jay grew up on the Isle of Man, but now lives in Hastings.
He recently produced a set of stamps for the Isle of Man celebrating 40 years of Culture Vannin, an organisation which supports and nurtures Manx culture, and created a print to help promote the Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration. Jay is best known for his work with Beak Brewery and Perambulation No1 – A Walking Guide to Modernist Houses series. As an advocate for equality, Jay creates work for Hart Club, a project for neurodiverse artists.
