Ken Taylor
Bio
Perth-based Ken Taylor’s richly detailed illustrations and gig posters are celebrated and sought after throughout the music and entertainment industry, garnering a huge fan base for their intricacy, distinctive imagery and bold colour. Ken completed an Advanced Diploma of Design and majored in illustration at the Western Australian College of Art and Design, where he first fell in love with screenprinting and typography.
Diversity underscores Ken’s practice, where the week can take him from a project exploring beauty and expanse, to making something brutal and confronting for Metallica or a poster for Jim Phillips’ Santa Cruz ‘Screaming Hand’ tribute show.
