Marcie LaCerte

Marcie LaCerte is a mixed Chinese-American animator based in Minneapolis. She combines analog and digital techniques to create colorful and surreal multimedia work.

She is an ADC Young Guns finalist, COLORFUL finalist, Jerome Hill Alternate Artist Fellow, and Creative Culture Fellow. She has collaborated with organizations including Vox, NPR, Quartz, and Giphy, and her independent work has been recognized by The New Yorker, Vimeo Staff Picks, AFI Docs, and more.

Additionally, she is passionate about education and has presented talks at the Columbia College of Art and Design, CalArts Experimental Animation, Living Room Light Exchange, and more.

Besides animation, she is interested in text-based games, sketch comedy, and HTML-only websites.
