Kat Macleod x Readings


This mixed media mural by Kat Macleod can be found at Readings' Emporium location in Melbourne. Designed by Kerstin Thompson Architects, the Art-Deco coded heritage space houses almost 500 linear metres of books. The mural was applied using a combination of hand-painted elements and paper-textured vinyl to create a collage effect, inviting customers to take a quiet moment.

These interior and exterior murals by Alice Lindstrom for Coles Local in North Balwyn, Victoria combine collage-style illustrations with imagery from the neighbourhood. Says Alice, "My illustrations combined historic and contemporary imagery that celebrated the neighbourhood and community as well as highlighting the fact that Balwyn North was the site of the very first freestanding Coles store in Australia."

Ellen Porteus x Jacky Winter HQ


Ellen Porteus transformed the exterior of Jacky Winter's Melbourne HQ with a two-storey, hand-painted mural depicting a walk-in computer. A neon beacon on an otherwise quiet backstreet, the mural has enticed gallery visitors, random passersby and even a wedded couple to take photos in front of it.

Tori-Jay Mordey x Aesop


This storefront mural for Aesop's James Street location in Brisbane was commissioned to celebrate the launch of the Eleos Aromatique Hand Balm. Tori-Jay Mordey (Torres Strait Islander, Meriam, Dauareb, and Muluigal, Wakaid) hand-painted the mural on-site, using the same lilac palette as the product's packaging.

Brolga x Nike Jordan

Measuring 4.5 x 4m, this giant character-filled, hand-painted mural by Brolga served as a key campaign visual for the Exclusive Jordan Space at Nike's Melbourne Central store.

Sony commissioned Ellen Porteus to create a bespoke mural artwork inspired by "Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse" to celebrate its digital release. In her piece, Ellen wanted to "capture the feeling of ripping through multi-dimensional portals in a world of colour, pattern and chaos".

Marc Martin x Hightail


Marc Martin hand-painted a series of murals in varying shapes and sizes to deck out the Hightail foodcourt space in Melbourne. Marc's artwork was painted onto several small and complex panels which were installed throughout the foodcourt to bring unity to the space, with the hero piece given prime positioning directly behind the Hightail bar.
