Carlos Oliveras Colom

Carlos Oliveras Colom, known as DonCarrrlos, is a Queer Senior Visual Designer, Lettering Artist, and Illustrator from Puerto Rico, based in New York.

With over a decade of experience in the art & design field, he has collaborated with brands like Instagram, Apple, Amazon Music, WIRED Magazine, Los Angeles Times, Saxx Underwear, Adobe, and others.

His work under the alias DonCarrrlos seeks to bring a world of light, fun, inclusivity, and bold expression. His expressive lettering and illustrations are designed to create a tactile experience, drawing people in and making them want to interact. Through bold colors, dynamic forms, and an outspoken approach, his work embodies positivity and playfulness.

He earned a BA in Graphics and Interactive Communications from Ringling College of Art and Design in Florida. His achievements include winning the TDC Ascenders Award 2023, Latin American Design Young Talents 2023, and a Latin American Design Award 2024.
