Eirian Chapman illustrated collectable Christmas coffee bags for Campos Coffee, inspired by uniquely Aussie Christmas moments - including a gingerbread man with a mullet, an espresso martini tower and a flying pavlova! 🎄☕

Enter the "Cosmos" by Craig & Karl, now floating at Melbourne Central for the festive season! Suspended mid-air, this larger-than-life installation brings some extra fun and joy to your summer shopping trip. Big big thanks to Dot Dot Dash for working with us on this cosmic collab!

Our artists have been doing some great work to accompany the stories on the adobe.design website! Check out these very mindful, very designer pieces by Eirian Chapman, Ellen Porteus, Karan Singh and Patricia Doria.

A very fit bit of work from Brolga, Chris Phillips and Josh Trotter, who teamed up to create some fun noodle characters and animations to circle the watchface of the Fitbit Ace LTE by Google - a smartwatch for kids aged 7 and over. Ft. Brolga on illustration, Chris on illustration + animation and Josh on animation.

We collaborated with the team from Marvel to assemble 5 Melbourne artists for ACMI's Anti-Hero Takeover. Each artist was tasked with creating a Marvel inspired art piece celebrating their favourite flawed and fierce Anti-Hero in their own unique style. And of course - everyone did a SUPER job! Jeff’s loose, casual style perfectly captures the vibe of living in one of Melbourne’s most famous, culturally rich and walkable urban suburbs. A big cheer for the next artist to join our 2025 Seasonal Update - Florian Schommer! Bringing with him some classic German precision, perfect colour combinations and an impressive ability to drink beer, Florian specialises in bold illustration and design for branding, packaging and editorial projects and creates his best work when the brief is detailed and the apartment is clean (same Florian, same). Presenting her first solo exhibition since 2019, Kat Macleod’s new collection of mixed media artworks explore the wonder of trees and the spirits that might inhabit them. Ancient Greek Mythology described tree dwelling beings as Dryads, known for their unique ability to evoke deep emotions such as joy, sadness and awe in those who gazed upon their homes. Working with watercolour on canvas, Kat captures the ethereal energy of these nymphs allowing colour and form to bleed and blend.

‘Dryads’ will run from 30 November 2024 to 25 January 2025 at Lamington Drive.

Brolga’s characters walk the walk for RMIT's UP program, which provides uni entry pathways for international students. With creative production by Hase Creative and animation by Oscar Gomez.

Will's work is punctuated by dynamic, exaggerated forms and is inspired by patterns in nature and movement in emotion. Will thrives creating pieces that hit different and bring something unexpected but brilliant to the table - just set him up with a bright, open airy workspace and a great banh-mi! Known for her hauntingly beautiful, hand-painted animated loops, Polish artist Weronika is a self-professed “manic animator, lunatic painter” who loves collaborating with people who look for magic and poetry in the world. Welcoming Boston based director, animator and illustrator Rohan Patrick McDonald to our roster! Rohan’s unique perspective has been present since he was a kid drawing dinosaurs (starting with the feet first) and aeroplanes (from the front, not the side). He is fascinated by analog techniques and blends print media, animation, music, and sound design to create elevated, breathtaking visual content. We are proud to announce that we here at JW are joining the ranks of Agents For Change — a collection of agencies in the UK who are committed to amplifying the voices of creatives from typically underrepresented groups, with a goal of increasing diversity across the industry. And this week we’re taking part in their first ever Talent Takeover!

Taking place tomorrow, September 23rd, the takeover sees a range of creative agencies each sharing the work of a selected emerging artist, in order to introduce them to our followers (that’s you!) and showcase their amazing work!

Well, it took a few gos, but we got there in the end!

After almost fifteen years we thought our brand deserved a bit of a tune-up. Luckily, Jacky Winter alumnus and typographic genius / all-around amazing person Dave Foster from Foster Type was more than up for the task. This new monogram will make its official debut on our overhauled website and (very overdue!) seasonal launch happening on Monday along with some other news we're bursting to share! Dave really went above and beyond on this one - even when we felt like throwing in the towel, and was very understanding at us being our own worst client. As you can see here, we definitely pushed past our usual allowed rounds of revisions!
